Houston Life Spotlights Come from Away at Stages
A powerful story of kindness and community is coming to life onstage in Houston.
Houston Life
Stages is presenting Come from Away, the Tony Award-winning musical based on the true story of nearly 7,000 travelers who were stranded in Gander, Newfoundland, after their flights were diverted following 9/11.
Rather than focusing on the tragedy itself, the musical tells the story of what happened next, when the people of Gander opened their homes and their community to thousands of strangers.
Watch Stages Artistic Director Derek Charles Livingston discuss Come from Away and the powerful story of kindness and community at its heart in his interview with Houston Life.
