About the Show

Created by Gerard Alessandrini, the comic mastermind behind the long-running hit Forbidden Broadway, and performed by a versatile cast of six, Spamilton: An American Parody is a side-splitting new musical parody. A crash course on Broadway history, this production takes the well-beloved score updated with witty new lyrics to tell the story of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s meteoric rise ten years after achieving acclaimed success with his smash hit, Hamilton.

Plus: Get two-for-one with an encore pairing of Miranda’s rarely performed “mini musical”, 21 Chump Street. This hidden gem, written in signature Miranda style, provides comedic commentary on the pressures teenagers face to be cool at school while navigating the “war on drugs”.

Don’t throw away your shot for this double-feature evening, complete with hip-hop piano.

“Smart, silly and convulsively funny!” – Ben Brantley, The New York Times
“Uproariously entertaining! VERY FUNNY!” – Don Aucoin, The Boston Globe
“The next best thing to seeing Hamilton!” – Barbara Hoffman, New York Post
