Join us for Kelley Peters (Always...Patsy Cline, The Honky Tonk Angels series, Marie Antoinette) special concert as she recounts memories of songs that have been passed down through her family. Filled with love, humor and warmth, Songs My Father Taught Me celebrates family and the importance of storytelling.
KELLEY PETERS' (Creator and Performer) previous roles with Stages include Always...Patsy Cline (Patsy Cline), A Midnight Clear: a Musical Tale of Christmas (Sister Ananais), The Honky Tonk Angels & The Honky Tonk Angels Holiday Spectacular (Darlene), and Marie Antoinette (Lamballe). You may recognize Kelley’s voice from her work as a voice actor with Sentai Filmworks or as the voice behind the most recent John Moore plumbing jingle. She was also a lead vocalist with Royal Caribbean International and performs around Houston with the Kelley Peters Trio, Nobody's Fool Band, The Drywater Band, The Ziggy Band, and the Richard Brown Orchestra. Kelley holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University. She joins Stages in proclaiming that our art will not only go on...but thrive!
